ERP Support & Projects Specialist (AX 2012 / Dynamics 365)

Our client, a well-established international company based in Timișoara, is looking for an ERP Specialist to join their team in a dual role that blends day-to-day support with meaningful project work. This isn’t a “just keep the lights on” position — you’ll split your time between ensuring smooth ERP operations and actively shaping how the system evolves to meet real business needs.

What you’ll actually do

On the support side (RUN), you’ll own L1/L2 functional support across AX 2012 (with a roadmap toward D365), manage incidents and service requests, coordinate with external AMS/TMA partners, and keep SLAs and KPIs on track. You’re the person who makes sure the ERP runs reliably — and when it doesn’t, you know how to fix it fast.

On the project side (BUILD), you’ll gather requirements from business stakeholders, translate them into functional specs, support UAT and deployments, and deliver user training and documentation. You’ll have a direct impact on how the system grows.

What we’re looking for

• At least 5 years of hands-on ERP support experience
• Strong functional knowledge of AX 2012 (mandatory) — experience with Dynamics 365 is a serious advantage and will accelerate your growth in this role
• Comfortable across multiple modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Logistics, Sales — you don’t need to be deep in all of them, but you should be able to navigate confidently
• Solid communication skills — you’ll work with business users, technical teams, and external providers daily
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Project management skills or experience contributing to ERP implementation/enhancement projects
