Business Analyst – RPA Projects (UiPath)
UiPath RPA Business Analysis BPMN Process Mapping AI Agile
About the Role
Our client, a key UiPath partner, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the team on a 3–4-month B2B contract. In this hybrid role based in Bucharest, you will lead process discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design for RPA initiatives using UiPath — acting as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects for the world’s leading automation company and Romania’s top tech success story.
What You’ll Do
Process Discovery & Documentation
- Identify, analyse, and document business processes to build a clear path from manual workflows to scalable UiPath solutions.
- Conduct As-Is / To-Be process mapping and write detailed Process Definition Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
- Define automation feasibility, complexity, and expected ROI for each candidate process.
Business–Technology Bridge
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear functional requirements.
- Collaborate with RPA Developers and Solution Architects to ensure designs are viable and aligned.
- Facilitate workshops with process owners to validate requirements and manage change.
- Evaluate opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities — intelligent document processing, LLM-driven decision support, and Agentic AI — into automation designs.
Quality & Adoption
- Define UAT criteria and coordinate testing with business users.
- Track automation performance against agreed KPIs.
- Manage stakeholder communication and expectation setting.
- Maintain a prioritised automation pipeline with clear business cases for each initiative.
Requirements
- Fluent Romanian and English (key for enterprise clients).
- 2+ years as a Business Analyst on RPA or process automation projects.
- Strong experience with process mapping methodologies (BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
- Proven ability to produce PDDs, SDDs, and business cases for automation.
- Working knowledge of the UiPath platform (Studio, Orchestrator, Action Center) — enough to assess feasibility and collaborate effectively with developers.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (LLMs, document processing, Agentic AI) and how they apply to automation use cases.
- Experience facilitating requirements workshops and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Solid analytical skills — comfortable with data analysis, process metrics, and ROI modelling.
- Strong communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- UiPath Business Analyst or equivalent RPA certification.
- Experience with automation CoE (Centre of Excellence) setup or governance frameworks.
- Finance, manufacturing, public sector, or healthcare domain background.
- Hands-on exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery within automation programmes.
- Experience with change management and end-user training for automation rollouts.
- Basic SQL or data querying skills for process data analysis.
